Secoval S.r.l. has asked GisUp to develop a modern Data WareHouse, a portal designed to support decision-making processes and business intelligence analyses, where data coming from different sources converge in a simple and effective way through specific applications.

The portal can be considered as a digital expression of the concept of "project" while the individual applications are an expression of the service that is intended to be dispensed. The system can be used by the Secoval and the Mountain Community operators.

After authentication, the user can enjoy only the applications and contents that the system administrator has allowed him to access. All contents will be considered read-only, only for the system administrators and/or project will be allowed, in the Admin section, to update permissions and configurations.

The first application hosted in the Data WareHouse is Waste-Path related to the management and monitoring of the separate door-to-door collection service. Through the use of this application, it is possible to easily follow and trace the number of conferrals by type of waste, the quantity of waste produced by a single family and their trend over time.

Access to the map data is simple in order to allow operators an easy comparison of different data with the same geographic extension (extent) up to create with the overlay of different layers custom maps Inside the platform are used intuitive and easy symbologies based on CSS both at the municipal level (distributions) and the punctual level (geocoding).

In each view, a technically "Time-slider" control is available. It has been using to create runtime queries for time ranges in order to compare different periods. Each layer is exportable in both alphanumeric and vector format (GeoJSON, KML or ESRI shapefile) and it is possible to create and export reports with different statistics in PDF format.
